Sushi Samba Opening at Galleria...

What do you get when you mix the intrigue of Peru, the sophisticated tastes of Japan and the sexy, hot influence of Brazil? Well, in our Galleria neighborhood, welcome to Sushi Samba. The opening was last night and it was jam packed, so much so that Charles and I will have to go back to sample all the delicacies. Can you hear the music? (ps. and yes, I took the pics!)

We are sooooooooooo excited that our friend Bonnie Pittman was named today as the new director of the Dallas Museum of Art....what a powerhouse! Bonnie was the first to greet us at the Art Ball on Saturday night, wearing her beautiful Ten Thousand Things jewelry. Way to go, Bonnie!

No, I really don't have a foot fetish, but when my friend came into the store and kicked off her Jimmy Choo's, there was hope that summer was on its way. These fashionable toes have baby blue polish with butterflies. And oh, yes, the foot tattoo is a real one. You go girl!!! And have a Happy Mother's Day!

I always love it when our out of town friends (who have been shopping with us since the store opened in '85) drop in for a visit. And both wearing their Cathy Waterman large framed angel pendants. The cutest mom and daughter, and we just adore them.

A Cupcake of a Great Time!!!

Those Sprinkles cupcakes are really something!!! We tried the cinnamon sugar, vanilla (lordie, must have had an inch of icing!), dark chocolate, lemon coconut and red velvet...yummm!!! We are in sugar shock, and also in shock over the amazing pieces Jeanine brought to the show, which were gobbled up at the rate of the cupcakes. Thanks soooo much for coming, and we hope the morning sickness will subside.
