Art by the Homeless: A Show
One of Alysa's projects in high school was working with the homeless in their art classes and an outgrowth of that was the creation of Alysa's Friends, which was the sale of cards with art made by them, with all proceeds going back to the First Presbyterian Ministies (Stewpot). This art show was hard to resist and we hot-footed it downtown where we ran into Charles, who was the artist for her peacock card. That painting by him in the background? Sold....to me. Can't wait to find a place to hang it.
