Viva Las Vegas!!!!

We are off to the jewelry shows in Vegas, and it's been a trip so far. Cancelled flight and lost luggage, well most of you know that story. So what is a poor girl to do but drag her husband to Walgreens laaaate at night for all the necessities, and then some. Happy beginning to this trip!

More Mother's Day...

Anyone who knows me, knows that my prized possessions are these mugs made by my kids. I go crazy when I misplace one, and even travel with one or two. They keep me centered .

This Mother's Day, I could have bugged Jake to do his homework, but instead, left him hidden away to work on a "secret project". When he emerged, I had a wonderful addition to my collection. (yes, that's him in a crown, halo and wings).

Sushi Samba Opening at Galleria...

What do you get when you mix the intrigue of Peru, the sophisticated tastes of Japan and the sexy, hot influence of Brazil? Well, in our Galleria neighborhood, welcome to Sushi Samba. The opening was last night and it was jam packed, so much so that Charles and I will have to go back to sample all the delicacies. Can you hear the music? (ps. and yes, I took the pics!)

We are sooooooooooo excited that our friend Bonnie Pittman was named today as the new director of the Dallas Museum of Art....what a powerhouse! Bonnie was the first to greet us at the Art Ball on Saturday night, wearing her beautiful Ten Thousand Things jewelry. Way to go, Bonnie!

No, I really don't have a foot fetish, but when my friend came into the store and kicked off her Jimmy Choo's, there was hope that summer was on its way.
