The only solution to Mother's Day was to wake up with one child and hop on a plane to Chicago to spend the rest of the day with Alysa. And what glorious weather received us .... I have to say that I have never seen more tulips in my life, from Evanston to Michigan Avenue (shown). And keeping with the windy city theme, they were dotted with windmills and all sorts of movable accoutrements. Is that a rainbow shining on Northwestern's Arch? After a brutal winter, Spring has arrived...yea!!!
