What to do when your child is not in school for Parent's weekend, but interning in New York?
Go where the girl is...and we had a blast. Yes, we are foodies. Yes, we ate our way through the 48 hours. And while Alysa was at work, I caught some Papparazzi waiting for former Mayor Guiliani, and the tourists at Rockefeller Plaza. That pile of chocolate? Why, it's what we resisted on the way out of Red Eye Grill. And Amber? Quite likely, the best sushi restaurant on the West Side. And those girls with the sparkly eyes? My own baby duck and Cathy Waterman's Claire, who is following her own dream. Knockout two days, and I am e.x.h.a.u.s.t.e.d. Miss you already, and thanks for a great, great visit.
