Yes, in honor of Jake's birthday, I personally arranged the following: for Charles to be out of town to move Alysa into her apartment, for the freezing rain to bring about a power outage, for the power to go off, for the power to switch back on and for the powerful electrical burning smell to appear with smoke, (and naturally me not having a clue what to do), thus facilitating ta da!!! the opportunity to call the fire department which sent 3 amazing guys out for a photo op with Jake and Victor. And yes, to spend an hour looking for the source, which turned out to be a scorched flatscreen. What a mom won't do to make a memorable birthday...Happy Birthday, Jake!!!!
