Of all of Luna Scamuzzi's new designs, none are more beautiful than Brando, who was born in Milan. We missed Luna in Vegas, but her absence (and Paolo's) were quite understandable. Bravo Luna! Bravo Paolo!~ Bravo Brando! Can't wait to meet you.....

Another rite of passage, this one being 8th grade graduation. And you are seeing our view of Jake (circled), as we were piled behind other proud parents and friends. Way to go Jake and friends! Now it's off to Upper School! (And we are off to Vegas for the Jewelry Shows!)
It is a revolution here over the new Catherine Michiels, and we promise, if you have spotted something that someone else has just snapped up, help is on the way. Catherine, did you get my urgent message? Ship, Ship, pleeeeeeeeeeeez Ship!!!
We cannot reveal the kid's names, but the owner will be surprised to log on and find out that her custom bracelet is in. And we are speechless looking at it. Let us know if you are interested in a custom bracelet of your own, with either the names of 3 kids, or 2 and a special date. See you soon darlin'....know you have prom and other things on your plate but this is waiting for your wrist! xc

It was a wonderful discovery 8 years ago to meet Adrienne Beam (now Adrienne Cornelsen) who founded Insite Interactive. Yesterday was their 10th anniversary and we were so happy to join the celebration. These guys are my lifeline. They design and run the website, and put up with me on a daily basis (that is not an easy task). Shown are Danny, Melissa, Adrienne, Evan and Chris, but there are so many others, and I apologize for not including you in this pic. Thanks for everything and on to the next 10 years.

Airport food can be fraught with lousy selections, but my advice in a pinch is this: It is hard to mess up a quesadilla. Period. So flying back through St. Louis, we picked Tequileria, where our hostess Cathy was celebrating her 50th birthday. Charming service, great lunch and zip...we are back in Dallas.

We asked a real foodie with great taste to recommend a lunch place which would wow, and friend Philip came through with flying colors. Vivo is one of soooooooo many restaurants lining West Randolph in Chicago, which is a former meat packing district. We could have come back for a solid two weeks to sample the other appetizing restaurants, but were so happy with Vivo.
From left: Future Hollywood Producer, Future Doctor, Future Sports Medicine Doctor. We can say we knew you when......(just call me for contact info).
What a great group of smiling faces, and who wouldn't smile with the end of school in site and summer around the corner. Thanks for coming y'all, we really, really enjoyed the great company!

The only solution to Mother's Day was to wake up with one child and hop on a plane to Chicago to spend the rest of the day with Alysa. And what glorious weather received us .... I have to say that I have never seen more tulips in my life, from Evanston to Michigan Avenue (shown). And keeping with the windy city theme, they were dotted with windmills and all sorts of movable accoutrements. Is that a rainbow shining on Northwestern's Arch? After a brutal winter, Spring has arrived...yea!!!

In the midst of our glorious Waterman trunk show, our favorite Minnesota visitors joined us to celebrate Celina's birthday....Drop on by when you are in town; you never know, we might have a par-tay going on.
This is a shout-out to our designer friends in New York, who gifted us with a hat box full of chocolate. 1. It was entirely unnecessary. We love you. 2. We resisted as much as we could. 3. We had the midnight munchies one evening and cracked this one open. 4. We are now on diets. Anyway, we thank you.
Yes, believe it or not, the tulips are blooming at Northwestern, and we will be spending the 2nd half of Mother's Day with our baby duck.....Yea!
Alysa keeps raising the score on a loooong list of things that she has done that I haven't. She keeps reminding me that SHE has been on Daily Candy and I or we have not. Score one for the child. And now SHE has gone to the Kentucky Derby and I have never been to see the horses and taste a mint julep. Oh, well...you go girl, I mean baby duck!
